Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, Extra Arms is comprised of Dave Yang (vocals, guitars), Daniel Benjamin (drums), Matt Haar (guitars) and Max Kimbrel (bass). Initially formed under the name USVS, the band went through a period of lineup changes until in 2009, the lineup solidified and the band could focus on their voice and sound. After honing their repertoire and playing around NYC, the band began on their first full length album, due out this fall.
Diehard

Diehard is four people shrinking their influences into immediate indie pop, like a cannonball dressed up in an autumn sweater. This New York band "has the inherent ability to know their influences and use them to create a sound that has passion and originality dripping from it’s fingers. …Referencing virtually every great late 90’s indie rock band, they still manage to put a spin on it that makes it fresh and exciting.” [The Dumbing of America]
Sexy Neighbors
"It's 1984. Venice Beach, California. Ruben has hit what you might call a low point. He's tired of living out of his old purple van.
He's tired of washing up at the public showers on the beach, and using a litter box as a bathroom. See, he's got dreams. He wants to get the old band back together and rock out. Just like high school.
Maybe this time they'll finally record an album...or at least play some shows.
Flash forward to 2009. A group of of bookworms, stockbrokers, and just plain Joes get together to play cool jams every weekend. Two of them (Andy and Nima) get recruited by another (Felix) to play some of the new songs he's got kicking around. Songs that apply the aesthetic of the 90's rave culture with the dance-rock movement of the mid 00's.
With the addition of Margie White on keyboard the songs start to take on a psychedelic flavor all their own. With the release of their new album, "Sexy Neighbors", on King's Highway Records, they are poised to leave a permanent dent in the global music scene and entertain audiences from Honolulu to Hong Kong."
