The Color and Sound
The Color and Sound
The Color and Sound started as a collaborative idea between friends in December 2012. LaRocque, Aliperta, Mahoney and Aylward had previously played together in the local indie pop/punk band, Life on Hold. While the band, fronted by Mahoney, generated moderate success, their collective hearts were growing away from their pop/punk roots. Opting for a change and a clean slate, TCAS added two new members to the group, Nicholas Stewart (ex-Emerson) and Christen Aliperta (ex-Warrior of Might and Magic), and set out to create a new sound with a new approach.

The resulting sound includes an array of constant group vocals, harmonies and pop simplicity. In a live setting their music is, as the name suggests, an explosion of lights and sounds. The Color and Sound has a dedicated light/sound engineer, Bruce Malley (PrayforSound.com) as well as a passion for their music that can't be faked.

Tracking in their own Kennedy Studios, The Color and Sound started working on their first album in January of 2013. With the freedom of their own space, hand built from the ground up, the band primarily writes in the studio and reworks each song for live shows. Infusing pop sensibility into modern folk/rock, the idea behind The Color and Sound is an ambitious effort that could only come to fruition with the collective minds involved.
Baby Brother
Baby Brother
Baby Brother is a Brooklyn based, rock, rhythm and blues group with super infused punk-country undertones. Lead singer and guitarist Jeremy Beazlie fronts a whopping group backed by lead guitarist and Texas born and raised Vincent Vitek, and from Seattle, Ian Hardie on drums and Ben Longwell on the bass. Hard, fun, kick you in the gut rock and roll for all ages, provided that you're used to a little profanity here and there, Baby Brother want's nothing more than to blow back your hair, and melt your pretty face. They're not asking you to leave anyone, they just want a little bit of your time. A new band looking to expand and re-mine rock origins, Baby Brother has such influences as: The White Stripes, Screaming Females, Bob Dylan, Junior Brown, BR-549, Queens of the Stone Age, Johnny Cash, John Lennon, and Nirvana. They work hard, and if you don't know them, they play hard. Strap yer boots for a show with songs of spooky ghost tales, uplifting rockers, tales of betrayal, abuse and...love? Baby Brother runs the gamut and so should you, so nod yer head, tap yer feet, and for God's sake, shake Yerbouti.
As The Sparrow
As The Sparrow
As the Sparrow was formed in early 2011. A majority of the members met through their high school's music ensembles. They started as a small idea in songwriter Mark Damon's head which grew and grew until he realized the perfect group of musicians were right under his nose. We play folk indie rock.
