The LoveHowl
The LoveHowl
The LoveHowl is a Brooklyn based band bringing back the soul in Rock n Roll. A project which developed from singer-songwriter Amy Sheehan's solo material the group has morphed into a gutsy rock act. NY native drummer Jonathan Vergara joined Amy and lead guitar player Alex Sherba on the recording of Sheehan's pop-rock EP Insane Concoction in 2010. Bassist/violinist Jonah Durning-Hammond joined the band following his move from the Delta in 2012. The particular combo of the friendly foursome has proven to produce just the right combination of dirty blues licks, occasional pop hooks and a taste of 70s rock reminiscent of Big Brother and the Holding Company. They are not afraid of Motown inspired ballads or worshipping Purple Rain (or Haze for that matter). Half of their hearts are living in a time capsule but it sure makes for something delicious.
Bangladeafy!
Bangladeafy!
Bangladeafy! is a berzerker drum and bass duo out of New York with a propensity for high speed and tricked-out beats and riffs. Living somewhere between the worlds of thrash, Latin and progressive, Bangladeafy! shows will make you want to dance; but in more of a "I just got shocked by a taser" kind of way.

Bangladeafy! came together after a chance encounter in 2006 at an open jam at a small coffee house in St. James, New York. While seeing great potential in each others cutting room-like styles, Atif and Jon set off to bottle audial lunacy. After wrestling with multiple combination's of musicians and instrumentation, the two decided, two was enough. Since October 2009, Bangladeafy! has been displaying their tricked out-Gatling gun like beats and riffs throughout Brooklyn, Manhattan, Long Island and surrounding cities alike.

BANGLADEAFY! is:

Atif Haq - Drums

Jonny Germ - Bass // Vocals
Luminous Flux
Luminous Flux
Luminous Flux is the brainchild of Michael James McGoff, long steeped
in the many decades and styles of rock since ever since he was a
teenager. Joining forces with drummer Steven Krueger in 2011, the band
performed originally as a two piece in the New York City area. Michael
Downes and Spencer Lee Gallop, bass and lead guitar respectively,
rounded out the band in 2012. Luminous Flux are known for putting on
an electric and energetic performance, high octane vocals soaring
above a steady and solid rock groove. Each song exists in its own
style and universe, and the band is known for commanding a varied and
colorful performance. They are currently working on their debut album,
which is expected in the Spring of 2013.
Hannah vs. The Many
Hannah vs. The Many
Hannah vs. The Many consists of Brooklyn singer/songwriter/antiheroine Hannah Fairchild and some of the more musically inclined members of her beloved urban family.

Hannah originally moved to New York City expecting to find work and meaning in the city's seedy underground indie musical theater community, which, as it turns out, doesn't actually exist. After two years of being rejected by every possible elementary school tour, Hannah said "fuck this" and started writing her own material.

Her lyrics are rooted in her musical theater background, with acerbic, rapid-fire observations that reflect her childhood obsession with Stephen Sondheim. Musically, she bends genres at will, blending influences from Kate Bush to The Replacements to Leslie Gore. Hannah's songs tell stories of heartbreak, hook-ups, drunken victories, narrow escapes, and all the other "pretty little tragedies" that come with being young and broke in the greatest city in the world.

Hannah recorded her first album Paper Kingdoms alone in her apartment, while recovering from a broken ankle and a long string of terrible choices (they know who they are). Weary of belting solo, Hannah began gathering some talented and like-minded friends and playing with them at venues around the city. Her second album, All Our Heroes Drank Here recorded at Brooklyn's Royal Drag Studios, was released January 17th, 2012.
